Fulcrum Business Solutions was formed under a different business structure in November 2001. Initially, it provided some contract accounting services and some individual tax preparation. Over the years, it has grown to include many ancillary services for business and individuals alike. Refer to the Services page for a list of current services that we provide.

At Fulcrum, we strive to do the right thing for our clients every time. We are committed to helping you achieve your goals, whether that means helping you with a current or prior tax situation, or developing a complex debt package to help you or your business get the capital you need to grow.

Robert J. Murray, CPA

Mr. Murray has been employed in a variety of different roles in the Banking Industry for over 20 years. For the last ten years he has been employed as a commercial loan underwriter for a large, international bank. He has undergraduate degrees in Finance and Accounting, and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA). In 2002, Mr. Murray used this professional and educational background to start an unincorporated predecessor company to Fulcrum with 12 clients, working out of his home. Fulcrum was incorporated in 2006 with 20 clients, still working out of Mr. Murray’s home. By early 2009, Mr. Murray passed the educational, professional and ethical qualifications, and most importantly passed the four sections of the very challenging Ohio CPA Exam, to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).  In 2010, Fulcrum had over 75 clients, and in 2011, it finally moved from Mr. Murray’s home to its present location on Busch Blvd. in North Columbus, Ohio.
